Hologram

The audience is spellbound

by elephants swaying

a 3D puppeteer levitates

a polystyrene bead

swirling and tracing

the image of elephant.

It moves so fast

the human eye sees

only the image

which looks so alive

 but doesn’t smell 

of warm elephants.

In the Intermission snacks-

vegetarian and vegan

are served on bamboo

Some are too young

to miss candy floss

or remember the filaments.
